Jonas Brothers in Syracuse- Joe's Birthday

OK Story time: This was August 15th, 2007 at Syracuse, NY's Palace Theater. It was also Joe's 18th Birthday and so this shows his parents bringing out his cake. Turns out it was Mr & Mrs Jonas' 22nd Anniversairy and another cake was brought out and handed to Kevin to present to them. So in handing over the cake and reaching for their anniversairy card, Kevin dropped the cake on the stage. The crowd laughed... and so did Nick, who is not seen in the video because he was too far from his brothers and parents to fit in the shot. And he was cracking up on the other side of the stage. In response to some of them: -I don't have anymore videos from this show other than a 15 sec one of Goodnight and Goodbye that was taken b/c I thought I was taking a couple of pictures. -There was no prank on Joe that night... this was as good as it got, but personally I thought a cake fight would have been quite amusing, lol. -If you think the Jonas Brothers are lame... you shouldn't have watched it in the first place so why comment? -If you liked it I'm glad that you did and I appreciate the comments. - I have seen the Jonas Brothers 3 times before this and twice after. Shoppingtown Mall in Dewitt... Clifton Park Center in Clifton, NY... Gramercy at Blender Theater in NYC... this vid... and then On the Burning Up Tour in Buffalo and Syracuse again. I was going to see them in Columbus, OH this summer, but due to lack of money and the 7-8 ...

Jonas Brothers White House appearance in honor of Paul McCartney - Career Milestone

Recently, Barack Obama President and First Lady Michelle Obama honored Sir Paul McCartney, the third recipient of the Gershwin Prize for popular song from the Library of Congress. It 'was a big bash with lots of famous stars like the Jonas Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill and Jerry Seinfeld else. McCartney has also performed with some of the musicians he influenced.

The event took place in the East Room, honoring the former Beatle asThe winners of this year. The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for popular song is the country's highest award for pop music.

The event was recorded and then a 90-minute program on PBS stations in the U.S. air July 28. McCartney said he was "very honored to Gershwin Prize will be like a great institution like the Library of Congress."

The prize commemorates George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, the great American songwriters, has greatly contributed to popularMusic. The prize is awarded to musicians whose lives contributions to the folk song Arena embody the kind of excellence that is associated with the Gershwins. The price also draws attention to the large collection of popular music in the Library of Congress, to encourage students to take scientists, professors and researchers, a large free public use of water in their relationships.

The first prize went to Paul Simon's Gershwin (May 2007) was the second of Stevie Wonder(Feb 2009) and McCartney is the third receiver.

For Jonas Brothers, the ability to bring to the White House came as a further recognition of their influence on popular music scene. In early May, were invited to Jonas Brothers on a tour of the National Museum of American History.

The Jonas Brothers were raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey. As children of musical parents, grew up in a family that was sung by a way of life.
