Healing of Divorce: Heal Your Heart

During my divorce, I was involved in a car accident. Fortunately nobody was injured. The only other accidents I had ever been involved in just before my wedding. We are all accidents are more likely to be ill, or other negative events happen to us in a divorce or shortly after the death of a spouse. I can only hear what you think. Have I not soon enough bad stuff in my life now? I do not need anything goes wrong.

Breaking upis difficult to do. You feel like you are on a emotional rollercoaster ride. You can hurt anger, sadness, fear, relief, overcome betrayal, like a failure, deaf, or a hundred other things. They are a time in your life when you probably need to make decisions about the children, your finances, your career, wherever you're going to live, and too many other things, if you are already feeling overwhelmed. No wonder that accidents and illnesses are more likely to happen if we go through aDivorce, a major break up or the death of a loved one.

They are also vulnerable. You may be tempted into a relationship or drinking or sex, just to relieve your pain. (Be wary of sexually transmitted diseases and herpes. It's better safe than sorry.) Or you might be tempted to go the other extreme and decide never again to date, or to trust again, or close to another person. The pain can be unbearable. You can really feel that your heart is broken.

Yes, you will get throughthis. The support of friends, a divorce recovery group, family and maybe even a therapist can be crucial. For some people, the feelings are so extreme that they feel suicide or murder. Please get help immediately. You get through this. Life on the other side of divorce can be improved.
